Kamilla completed her Master's degree in Music Composition at Arts University Bournemouth in 2026, following her degree in Piano Performance at Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2023, where she studied under the respected pianist and instructor Max Levinson. Prior to this, she earned a Professional Pianist, Teacher, and Accompanist certification from the Academic Music College of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in 2016.
A winner of several international competitions, Kamilla brings over twelve years of experience as a performer and educator, sharing her knowledge with aspiring musicians of all ages. Her versatility has allowed her to excel as both soloist and collaborator across a wide range of settings, from intimate chamber ensembles to large-scale orchestral productions.
Additionally, Kamilla Bendersky is a proud Steinway Teacher and educational partner, and a certified member of MTAC and MTAC West Los Angeles branch.
Kamilla believes in a wholesome and holistic approach to piano playing and performance. She thinks that merging discipline and dedication together with great appreciation and love for music is the key to success.
Kamilla recognizes that without proper technique, posture and finger strength, it is impossible to convey the message of the piece and the composer in its fullness. Thus she incorporates vigorous training to address these common shortcomings. However focusing solely on technique can quickly become dull and mundane since after all good technique is merely a tool that helps achieve the sound and emotion that we are striving for at the piano. Work on sound, tone, dynamic, phrasing and emotional aspects of the piece is the focal point of piano playing.
Experience in music composition allows Kamilla to dive deep into harmonic, structural and contextual aspects of music revealing layers of depth and insight that have been laid out by composers.
Additionally, she has an extensive experience in live performance and recording. She spent years researching and studying on how to excel in mental and physical preparation for concerts, recitals and competitions. Proper steps and preparation with mental and body relaxation techniques help Kamilla's students achieve their top mental and physical states to excel during stressful performances and events.
Kamilla's goal is to nurture student's appreciation and love for music along with developing discipline, dedication, resilience and focus.
